The Turkish Constitutional Court consists of 15 Justices. The term of office is twelve years and non-renewable. But in any case, the mandate of a Member expires at the age of 65. There are two Sections of the Court in order to examine individual applications and such Sections shall be composed of the members except for the President of the Court. As a rule, the Plenary shall take decisions by absolute majority. However, annulment of constitutional amendments, dissolution of political parties, or their deprivation from state aid, shall be decided with a two-thirds majority of Justices attending the meeting.
